1996 was the last time I visited Japan and back then I didn't care about photography, traveling, or even Japanese food. At that time I went along with my parents to visit family members we had living in Tokyo. Fast forward to 2013... This time around things were definitely going to be different. I made sure to appreciate every little thing and adsorb as much of the culture as I could. Sensory overload would be a good way to describe my experience, I even slept through a 7.1 earthquake. I'd like to thank my cousins Lester & Jaydee for taking the time to be my guides, you can check out Lester's portfolio here:
Lomora 2
iPhoneography with the Lomora 2 camera app. I found out about this app a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. The app mimics various "lomo" style film looks, but since I'm a huge fan of B&W film I decided to only photograph with the B&W setting. Here are some photos I have compiled over the last couple of weeks using only this app.
iPhoneography
What is iPhoneography? Perhaps capturing life in a digital LoFi format? Maybe taking photos and editing them strictly using your iPhone? For me, it's the freedom to create, capture, and share anything I happen to feel or see at the moment. Here are a few random iPhone photos I have taken over the last few years.
